These are the workshops and visits that form part of our educational offer. Each one includes an accessibility guide with pictograms (adapted for people with ASD) and a downloadable teaching guide for teachers.
On this guided tour we will discover a great variety of animal species together, from majestic jaguars to adorable meerkats, and learn about their habitats, behaviour and unique characteristics. During the tour, pupils will have the chance to get close to the animals, observe their natural behaviour and learn about the challenges they face in the wild. The zoo not only provides a safe refuge for endangered animals, but also takes part in captive breeding and reintroduction programmes.


Come and discover the wonderful world of living things! In this workshop you will have the chance to get to know the characteristics of different animal species up close, such as mammals, birds and others. Our guides will tell you everything you need to know about the physical features, natural habitat, behaviour and needs of each species at the zoo, how these living beings are interconnected, and why their conservation is essential for the balance of the ecosystem. Pupils will model the tracks of different animals in clay.


In this workshop we invite children to immerse themselves in the wonderful world of nature and learn about the importance of caring for our environment. With the aim of fostering environmental awareness from an early age, the children will have the chance to experience planting a cutting and watching it grow and develop. The workshop begins with an introduction to the importance of plants in our ecosystem, how they contribute to our wellbeing and why it is essential to protect them, learning about the life cycle of plants, photosynthesis and the symbiotic relationship between plants and living beings.


In this adventure full of discoveries, we will explore some of the most fascinating features that make animals unique and amazing. From colourful feathers and imposing horns to sharp fangs and mysterious eggs, we will dive into the incredible world of the different parts of animals. Pupils will be able to explore feathers of various colours and designs, examine horns of different sizes and shapes, find out what fangs are for and discover the secrets hidden inside eggs.


On our adventure, we will explore the different kinds of food that the animals in the zoo eat, from juicy fruit and vegetables to crunchy leaves and energy-packed proteins. We will discover how each animal has evolved to adapt to its specific diet, learning about its unique adaptations and feeding behaviours. Get ready to discover the culinary secrets of the zoo's residents!


This workshop is designed to explore in depth the intrinsic relationship between individual trees and the wider forest ecosystem. We will delve into the fascinating world of trees, those silent giants that are not only fundamental pillars of the environment, but also offer us valuable lessons about interconnection and sustainability. Each tree has its own story, its own function and its own importance, but it is in the unity of the forest that we find the true strength of nature.



Today we are going to learn how to separate and recycle our waste effectively in order to protect our environment. Recycling not only helps reduce the amount of rubbish we produce, but also conserves natural resources and reduces pollution. Throughout this workshop we will discover the different types of materials that can be recycled, how to sort them correctly and why it matters to do it well.
