The zoo has several picnic areas spread over a large area of natural grass.

๐ŸŒพ Wakanda

It is a Native American name meaning โ€œinner magical powerโ€. We chose it because we believe that this โ€œinnerโ€ magical power is the people who visit us.

๐ŸŒบ Ubuntu

Ubuntu is an African philosophy whose meaning reflects โ€œhumanity towards othersโ€. The word comes from the Zulu and Xhosa languages. Ubuntu is seen as a way of life focused on respect, loyalty and care for people and their relationships with the community.

๐ŸŒผ Darana

An Australian Aboriginal word. According to Aboriginal legends, Darana was one of the deities of the Dreamtime: a mythological witch who created worms, put them in a bag and then hung it from a tree.

๐Ÿƒ Haroku

An Asian word of Japanese origin. It means โ€œborn in springโ€.
