Zoo Koki animals

Entry rules

So that your visit, and that of the animals, is safe and enjoyable for everyone.

I. General

  • Entry to the zoo is not permitted to anyone carrying firearms or compressed-air weapons, projectile launchers of any kind (catapults, etc.), bladed weapons or sharp objects.
  • Bringing in alcoholic drinks or drugs of any kind (narcotics, psychotropic substances, etc.) is also not permitted.
  • Skates, scooters, bicycles, tricycles and the like are not permitted.
  • Playing with balls or objects that may frighten or disturb the animals is not permitted.
  • You must keep your ticket during your stay at the zoo and show it to staff if requested.
  • Children under 13 are not permitted to enter unless accompanied by an adult.
  • For safety reasons and to ensure the welfare of the animals, bringing animals into the park is strictly prohibited, with the exception of guide dogs and assistance dogs.

II. Grounds

  • Access to fenced or enclosed areas where the animals are kept is not permitted.
  • Throwing food (uncontrolled) to the animals is not permitted, nor is teasing or provoking them or altering their usual behaviour in any way.
  • Restricted areas are all those marked with an access control sign; they may only be entered accompanied by authorised staff.
  • Visitors must in all cases follow the instructions of the guides or authorised zoo staff.
  • As a general rule of conduct, visitors must look after the facilities, without causing damage or deterioration to them, or to the animals or plants.
  • Disposable items must be put in the bins located throughout the park.
  • Radios and sound players may not be used within the grounds, except with headphones.
  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the grounds, except in areas specifically signposted for it.
  • The use of flash when photographing the animals is not permitted, as it can cause them serious vision problems.

III. Groups

  • A group is defined as a gathering of fifteen or more people.
  • Visits by groups of more than 15 people must be booked at least one week in advance.
  • For safety reasons, a group visit must necessarily be accompanied by a guide.

IV. Other rules

  • The car park is not supervised, so we cannot accept responsibility for any damage to parked vehicles or for the loss of items left inside them.
  • Zoo Koki accepts no responsibility for items lost within its grounds.
  • The organisation reserves the right to alter and modify the programme of activities depending on weather conditions.
  • Uncivil behaviour towards the animals, zoo staff or other visitors may be penalised by the immediate expulsion of the offenders.
